Inspection and Testing

We Provide Electrical Certificates and condition reports for New and Existing Installations, this includes both domestic properties and commercial properties

All electrical installations deteriorate with age and use. They should therefore be inspected and tested at regular intervals to check whether they are in a satisfactory condition for continued use.

Electrical Testing and Inspection

It is recommended many homes and commercial businesses to have an EICR done, which used to be called a periodic testing report. This should be done every 5 Years. However, higher risk environments will require 3 Yearly or even more frequent testing. It should be noted that all stated periods are maximum intervals.

Landlord electrical safety certificates are important for ensuring the safety of your tenants and being able to prove that you have taken reasonable steps to ensure their safety.

Electrical Installation Certificates and EICR

Electrical Installation Certificates EIC

If you had your property rewired, added a new circuit to your existing installation or have had a new whole electrical installation in a new property, we can issue an EICR for new electrical installations regardless whether the installation has been done by us or by someone else. This is valid for 10 years.

Electrical Inspection Condition Report EICR

This EICR is issued to ensure the existing electrical installation is safe and has not deteriorated over time. This is more so required for tenancy and is done every 5 years.
